I am finally done with the editing from this amazing destination wedding in the beautiful Smokey Mountains! Jake and Courtney wanted to get married in a spot that would be between the two traveling families so they picked Gatlinburg TN. GOOD CHOICE! They booked a lodge for all the guests that was as quaint and incredible as the scenery itself! Having ONE family stay all together can have its issues, but add friends and another entire family and things could get interesting! :) However, All that was had on this weekend was a fantastic time!
Words are just not enough...This is INCREDIBLE!
Okay, enough with the scenery, lets get to the wedding....First, the Groom..Jake.
There was no doubt about the bond these friends share!
While the Groomsmen were having fun playing pool and posing for pictures, the bride was having her own fun putting on the dress that every girl dreams of!
This is one of my very favorite shots from the day. I love how the love radiates from the mother's eyes! It makes my heart smile every time I see it. I hope it does the same for the bride and her mom!
And you see the love from Dad too!
The Bride did all the decorations herself! Well, with a little help from her mom.:) Mom's are so awesome!
And what bride gown is not complete with a beautiful pair of....CONVERSE! :) I love it! So fun!
Isn't she beautiful! I love this shot!
Ok, lets get this wedding started!
I'm sure the Dad is not going to like that I posted his softer side, but I couldn't help it. Every single time I look at these two photos I get teary eyed myself because I can FEEL the emotion! Do you?
The whole crew!
MR. and MRS. Jacob Gallik!!!
Let's get the party started! The Decorating was done by the family and the cake was made by the grandmother of the bride.
The most emotional dances of a lifetime I think!
I was so honored to be part of this special day both as family and as photographer. It was truly a happy day and I wish you the best in your new journey together. May you find each happiness together as you find your way in this new life!!
XOXO Jen
